My kid does loved this item but be warned. When it works, it is pretty cool. We picked it up from discover store last christmas and the motor quit working with in 2 months. We picked up a 2nd one and it started leaking within a 2 months. Discovery store had a lot of complaints about this item. Most from the motor quiting within a month or two.

#2 - #1 says you don't have an eruption to brag about, you can also give one to a lawyer and the rodeo cowboy will just sit there and look at it -

#5 - then it would be perfect for fbt. Does it matter if they are homophobes?

I got one of these. If you put in all the eruption beads, then the motor is not strong enough to push the beads up. It is kind of noisy too, so much that when I leave my cubicle, my coworker would come over and turn it off. It uses a normal toy motor so should not be run countinuously for more than a few hour at a time. If left on for a few days, I can see it easily burned out. A novelty item for the first few days you use it... afterward, you will pack it away and never use it again.

I wouldn't buy this for myself. But I would buy it as a "write-off", quick and easy gift for someone else. Does that make me a bad person?
