Newegg has the EVGA 01G-P3-1561-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card for $250 - $25 off with coupon code EMCNENJ28 [Exp 5/7] - $25 rebate [Exp 5/15] + $0 shipping = $200 shipped. Supports nVidia Physx, Direct X 11, and mini HDMI.
Regrettably at this point I wouldve thought 560Ti like this would get better pricing, say $170-180. Oddly telling is when the GTX680 started to release the 570/580 pricing started have strong movement, as Nvidia/AIB didnt want folk super disenfranchised once they saw perf/price of that release. Interestingly with the GTX660Ti and other GK104 variant said to be for a May release something doesnt seem right.
The only cards in play here from AMD, the 6950 2Gb are fairly equivalence with the GTX560Ti, while a 7850 hands down betters something like this "FPB" model. Oddly neither of those aren’t all that abundant and may be why Nvidia is holding to it's price but what about there own up coming offerings?
It looks as though AMD production woes from TSMC have disappeared and 7870 like Tahiti’s are plentiful; although, just lately 7850 have been seeing less available and haven't seen many deals. If I had to guess I'd say AMD has biding-time binning 7850’s, and will see what something like a GTX660 can offer before unleashing a gauntlet of 7850’s <$200. To be bumping up to GTX570 performance at under $200 (18 months later), will definitely be a good thing.
