NCIX has the EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2662-KR GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card for $200 with free shipping. Factory overclocked to 1046MHz, a decent bump of 66MHz more than the reference card.
Very Good No Rebate price for a Superclock, but being the 2Gb unit, it is the smurf board design. A reference 7870 GHz will spar back and forth with this SSC... even further now with 12.11 ATI drivers. Although 7870s are a little more including working a rebate, I like that 7870's run 256-Bit, that provides the bandwidth when moving up the resolution and/or details.
Most plot the 12.11 on a 7870 averaging about 7%, like with BF3. Hard to find reviews with this SSC and 7870s, although it was the logical comparison at release. As to OC'n these reviews saw 7-10%, it's really due to reference cooling, boost clock is throttled back as it recoils against the thermal limit.
This review has this EVGA GTX660 SSC and a XFX 7850 1Gb shown in with the graphs. Factor in 12.11's 7% for BF3 it's behind still, about 20%... so that’s a major delinquency. What is interesting the rest of the titles are like within 5%, while still on the older drivers. Boarderlands is a washout, although it looks like PhyX can only be set to low not off, but interestingly still very playable at 1920x1080 at almost 90 Fps no complaints. http://www.legitreviews.com/article/2050/1/
