Brought a Philips when it came out 8 eights ago for about $100.
It still works and give good accurate reading. Very good to measure children temperature when they are sick and cranky.

convenient, but not the best way to take an accurate temperature reading compared to rectal and axillary (in this case, axillary temperature would be the preferred method).

Temporal = pertaining to time? Nice! I've always wanted to measure the temperature of time.

#4: Haven't you heard of relativity? If it wasn't for WW II, this device would have been Einstein's legacy.

CostCo always has these things for this price. I found it's not all that reliable.

if you're going to use this, I recommend reading all the documentation. The temperature ranges for a fever are different between temporal, oral and rectal. I think the cutoff for toddler age children is 100.7, and 100.3 for adults (I don't remember) Anyways, if you get one, I recommend writing those down on the inside of the battery cover or something.

Last time I checked a child's rectal temperature, I got arrested right there on the playground. Who knew preventative medicine could have such serious consequences?
