Walmart has the Exerpeutic Aero Air Elliptical for $99 with free site-to-store shipping or $5 to home. Features LCD screen displays distance, calories burned, elapsed time, and speed. Maximum weight capacity is 260 lbs. Normally $110+ elsewhere.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from cheap elliptical machines. Bite the bullet and buy a decent name brand machine that costs $700+...you won't be sorry.
#1 Sounds like you have experience with or knowledge of the cheap ones. What kinds of problems do they have and why would be sorry? (I'm asking sincerely, as I was considering this before I read your comment.) Thanks!
EDIT: Never mind, I read the 1-star reviews on the site. I'll be avoiding this due to various breakages reported by others.
#2: Looks like the one-star review tipped you off, but from personal experience (my sister-in-law had a cheapo one, from Wal-Mart I believe; my wife sprung for a Reebok RL1500 on sale for about $800), the cheaper ones tend to have a tiny stride length and wobble non-stop when using them. Our Reebok beast weighs a good three times as much and has a long stride (20", I believe). It's solid and except for the little electric fans crapping out on it, I've been satisfied over the 6 years we've had it. My sister-in-law's elliptical hit the dumpster about 18 months after purchasing it (after she used it maybe 20 times).
Folks, all these exercise machines eventually end up as clothes drying racks. The air ellipticals have the added advantage of a fan blade to dry your clothes if you actually exercise.

Have an elliptical and a treadmill and am very happy with both.
