I forget, can D2D purchases be activated on steam?
Good question and it seems the answer is yes.

This one isn't so bad since it comes with all the DLC's. But you have to watchout for buying a game on either service becuz they lock you in to that service for the future DLC's. ie. You can't buy Fallout New Vegas from Steam and then buy New Vegas DLC's from D2D and it work. They sucker you in with a low price and then get you on the updates.
BenKat is generally right, but one thing I've noticed is that when Steam (for example) puts the core game on sale, they also put the DLC on sale as well. Combined, the packages tend to have a very reasonable price. But if you buy from Steam, you must also buy your DLC from Steam as well.
