A buddy told me that the graphics on PS3 were pretty bad, i checked the price hoping the xbox version would be the same price but no, its only for ps3 that went down. Makes me wonder

there has been much talk about how fallout3 for the ps3 has graphics problems and also corrupts game saves. hopefully that's all been fixed. clearly the discount is because there has been a release of a game of the year version with all the dlc. if you are going to get through the game and use any of the dlc, it's a much better deal.

I had it for the PS3. The graphics are great and I have never had a single saved game problem. Although you should save often for gameplay reasons anyway.
There are plenty of side-by-side screen shot comparisons between the Xbox, PS3 and PC on gaming sites. The differences are very minor with the PC being the best as always.
I sold my copy and bought the GOTY edition. I don't know if it is just the DLC or not, but the new version has a lot of bugs and crashes often. Still fun to play but a little frustrating. I never had a single crash or problem with the original game. If you are not too concerned about the DLC buy this. The game is awesome, but as with any RPG will take time to play.

What's the difference between this version on the Game of the Year version? The discount only applies to this version.

I just got this game for $15 on ebay.

The cheap copy I bought on ebay had a Russian or Ukrainian cover, the printing was second-rate, and no CD key was included (or needed). I don't know if that's standard for R5 releases, or I paid for a bootleg.

$20 for a legitimate copy seems like a decent deal.
