Anybody played this? I never got around to playing Fallout 3...was thinking of getting the GOTY edition, but I've got such a huge stack of unplayed/unfinished games at the moment (and have for the past 5 years). Are the Fallout games worth the amount of time it takes to play through them? (I have several friends that have buried 100+ hours on Fallout 3 and its expansions; I assume New Vegas will be similar)
#5 same with me. I have become so involved with Borderlands - what a great game this is - that Fallout and the addons have been pushed to the back of the shelf.
#6: are you playing Borderlands single-player or with friends? If so, you're enjoying it as a single-player game? I got Borderlands before last Christmas and have yet to play it, also (despite purchasing one of the expansions for it). I think I've been putting it off a bit because I've heard it's so awesome with 3 other people to play with, but none of my friends are currently playing it (they finished playing it around this time last year, I believe). I guess I'm just curious if the playing it single-player is worth the effort...
Fallout 3 is an awesome game. New Vegas is preloaded and ready to roll on my home machine. Looking forward to getting home from work, putting the kids to bed and logging a few hours in the Mojave Wastelands.
Much as I hate to Support MS, this game should be purchased for the 360 as the DLC is 360 only (for awhile at least). One more hit on Berthsilda.. love there games, hate the marketing.
to answer #5 & #6, Fallout 3 is amazing. with or without the DLC (but you can get GOTY with DLC for about $50 now). if you enjoy Borderlands as a single player, i think you'll enjoy Fallout 3. if you prefer the multiplayer aspect of Borderlands, Fallout 3 might leave you wanting more.
Someone please fix this. The rebate isn't twenty dollars, it's ten. It's $60 - $10 rebate = $50.
There's no such thing as a "deal" the day a game is released.
Does this game require the original ie expansion or is it separate?
Does not require Fallout 3.

#9 - What makes you think the DLC is 360 only? Fallout 3 DLC was available for all platforms.
