It seems that zipzoomfly has slightly modified some of their prices so that people can take advantage of the eBillme discount.

This is an amazing price for a 1tb hard drive, even more amazing is that it's external and has USB, firewire, and eSATA ports. You can't even get an internal 1tb drive for this price.

Wow, that's tempting. Feels like Jack and Beanstalk...he's sent out for groceries, and comes back with a hard drive:

Him: "But honey, 50 bucks for a terabyte drive is UNHEARD OF!"

    Her: "GTF out of here."

that ebillme deal makes me wanna go out to my local banks and open up several minor $110 accounts just to score on the one time offers of $30 off.
then close them once transactions are completed.

ebillme is a credit line. equivalent to opening a credit card account. the money you save here, you pay with your credit score.

Nice deal. But I don't do ebillme and I don't do rebates any more ... so I will pass.

FYI, I really just think Rebates are an attempt to get you on (snail mail) mailing list/special offers email lists/bypass Do Not Call List (since you have done business with the entity and they now have a right to call you).

No, eBillme is a way of paying directly from your checking account without giving your account information to the vendor. It's like paying from your bank account with Paypal.

There is no credit involved. They won't even ship your product until you have sent the payment to them. It is not a loan.

It's like using your debit card.
