i hate fantom's rebate handlers. those a-holes didn't give me my $20 back for the 1tb that i bought back in december. I finally gave up

This is a good hard drive. I like the on/off switch. Actually #2, it is about 1/2 the height of the Seagate Free Agent and maybe somewhat lighter.

#3, i guess the enclosure just makes it look bulky to me. but ive never seen one so what to i know.

the styling (aluminum + cheese grater cooling) reminds me of the current mac pro case, looks futuristic and heavy duty... if you care for that sort of thing.
