not a bad price, but you can get a smaller usb powered drive for close to the same price.
pretty good deal.. I like this enclosure, it breathes well and looks nice.
Great drive. I actually purchased the 1TB one back in early December from buy.com (ton's of reviews there) when it was $130 with a $30 rebate ($100 after all is said and done). Drive runs whisper quiet. Super cool and it's stilling on my desktop at the moment.
My ONLY concern with this drive is the rebate. The company who handles the rebates for this company is (1) SUPER SLOW - I'm at 12 weeks next week an still nothing (but the fine print stated this). So keep ALL of your paperwork.; (2) you've got a VERY LIMITED amount of time to get the rebate in (so don't delay when you get this drive in). (3) Read all the fine print on how to submit the rebate as you first need to APPLY for the rebate coupon. Then you get an email to a link with the coupon. Then you register for the coupon. It gives you some code on a sheet of paper that you need to fill out and mail in with everything.
So with that said, if you are not good at keeping your paperwork, and reading rebates thoroughly don't 100% count on this rebate coming through.
