Amazon has the Fenix LD10 LED AA Flashlight for $41 with free shipping. Normally around $55. Features 100 lumen output, waterproof case, four output levels, two flashing outputs and a bulb lifespan of 50,000 hours.
Fenix makes some of the best flashlights around - especially these compact AA type that take only one or two batteries. Inexpensive, easy to replace when you need them and using electronics to boost the voltage so they squeeze out most of the capacity before the light begins to fade.
I bought the "Ultrafire WF-502B CREE XM-L T6 LED 1000LM Flashlight" knockoff on ebay for $17 and it really is excellent. The Fenix is probably "better" but is it 3x better?
Don't buy this fenix crap, I agree they are sturdy, bright and all but the one I had it's battery leaked and it was impossible to take that battery out because there was no second (alternative rear end) opening for the battery . I had to throw away $40 flash light.
If you have a flashlight that was ruined by a leaking Energizer or Duracell, all that you need to do is call them. They will ask you not to try to remove the battery, and they ask you how much the flashlight cost. They will mail you a check. In my case, they told me to dispose of the flashlight. I did not have to send it back. It so happened that the flashlight was a 2 D cell Maglight that had an LED. I bought the cheaper non-LED model as a replacement, and just swapped the heads.

Drill large hole in battery, reach in with needle nose pliers and pull it out. If it does not come out, drill another hole and repeat. Eventually there's nothing left of the battery. Put a bit stop ring on the bit so you don't accidentally drill too deep. Then there's the cleaning step no matter what light it was.
These are pretty bright
Great reviews.

Honestly rated and far more reliable than generics.
