funny thing is that English Version was out a month ago. Bit torrent full version of english version released late september.

Played FF7,8,10.. I think I am getting tired of it. It is especially frustrating that when they say the game is longer than the previous version, it doesn't mean they make the story deeper, but just increase the play time by making charactor power-up progress much longer.

#5, I agree with that. But FF12 isn't that bad. I played it for 30 hours so far, and I'm at level 30.
The problem with 12 is not leveling up. Instead earning gils(money) is the main problem. Even though you win the battle, enemies don't drop gils, instead they drop items(loots) and you have to sell this item at the shop to earn money. Secret weapons such as Ultima appears by selling specific items in the store.

Played everyone of them except 9 and 12. Didn't particularly like 10 because of some of the tedious work you had to do, e the trials. To some extent it's a brain teaser, on the other hand, it's trial and error and just a waste of time for those without a walkthru. Also in 10, they make you do excessive time consuming work to get the final weapons. 1 character had an item I believe would have taken 10+ hours to obtain from what i heard.

Yeah #7, it was like dodge lightning for hours to get one of the ultimate weapons. It just wasn't worth it. Still, Final Fantasy X wasn't all that bad (Im really getting tired of X-2). Never played XI but I think XII will be my next RPG.

As for ranking the FF games... I would go FF2, FF7, FF3
