The problem is the onboard battery. I have one and it flys very well, but only for 30 seconds after an hour charge. You need a LiPo onboard battery then this would be a good copter. If you want it to go then you add weight to the front and it will go, but too much and it becomes a missle.
I have another micro that is infrared controlled and it has a LiPo onboard battery. I didn't expect much from it, but it is exceptional. I've had 10 minutes of flight time on one charge of less than 10 minutes and it is so stable that I can fly continuously in my 2 story room for the entire time. Air hogs is a brand that has this type where there is the main rotor and a second micro tail roter, very cool. My wife got it at the grocery store for $10 before Christmas. Can't find them near that price now.
