This will look kind of cheesy, as I understand the special effects was made in 480p so it will look out of place with everything else looking sharp. Long live the Browncoats!
I enjoyed this series. I wished it would have gone longer.
#2, agreed it was great, Just bad management by Fox prevented the series from continuing.
Still don't understand why they don't bundle this with Serenity. How could you want to own the series but not the movie?
Because then you wouldn't shell out the extra money to buy the movie seperately. "They don't like it when you shoot at them, I figured that out by myself" -Mal
The FX scene maintain pretty good continuity with the live action shots. This is a pretty good deal considering the DVD is going for $26 at Amazon. The main thing the BD has going for it is fewer disks and a "play all" option plus more extras. Otherwise the improvement in pq while noticable is minimal. Serenity, OTOH, is BD demo material.
Agree that it was a great series. Wish they would bring it back.
Hmm, I didn't like it all that much which was notible as I usually get into sci-fi series a little bit.
Funny how most great sci-fi classics are like westerns in space, Star Wars anyone?
