Great series, a must have if you don't already own it.

Yes #1/#3, Firefly was an absolutely great show.

#2 you must be a Fox executive.

#2 is both correct and flame baiting.

    The movie, however, was good.

I don't think the show was allowed enough time to find its niche. It was rough to start with but the episodes got better as it progressed. The movie was great.

I was so sad when they canceled this show, it rocked! I might just go back and watch the episodes again!

Good, solid science-fiction series. I didn't watch it when it originally aired on Fox, but did watch it on the SciFi Channel where they broadcast the episodes in the order the producers originally intended. Got hooked from episode 1 and had to immediately buy the full series dvd when they came on sale.

The whole old Western speak/mannerisms takes a little getting used to, but once you progress through the series, you kinda see why that's the appropriate setting.

It's a shame that a good show like this with a lot of thought and heart can't find an audience... and with all the cast doing different jobs now... no chance for a return. WAH.

I've got all the episodes saved to Tivo. At this price, I'm going to order this and free up some space.

    Dang it! Sold out...

I'm sorry. I started watching this program and liked it. It was the kiss of death. "Strange Luck," "Nowhere Man," "Space: Above and Beyond." I'm guilty. If I like them and watch them in first issue, the Television Programming Gods kill it off!

After Battlestar Galactica this was one of the best sci-fi shows on television in the last ten years.

This show got cancelled entirely due to the horrid opening music. I never watched it until it was DVD, and after the second time having to listen to that horrid music, I started skipping it. Something you can't do on live TV. That said, I love the actual show, and wish they could have picked it up on SciFi or another channel. Movie's pretty darn good as well.

Not a horrible show, but despite watching the whole series and movie, I never really saw what the fuss was about.
