Blockbuster does not charge extra for Blu-Ray, whereas Netflix now charges $5 per month. In my experience with multiple mail accounts with both services, Blockbuster is slower in processing and shipping movies, but is more likely to send you the movies you want.
Netflix, after the newness has worn off your account (about 4 months), tends to list everything in your queue as 'Long Wait' or "Very Long Wait".
If you watch a lot of movies, you can have 2 "3-at-a-time" Blu-ray mail accounts at B-Buster for the same price as a single '4-at-a-time' Blu-Ray account at Netflix.

I was rooting for Blockbuster and didn't like netflix but last month they had 7 movies I wanted to watch on either short wait or long wait. Got sick of it and cancelled my account. Now I got Netflix.all my movies were available.....sorry Blockbuster.game over.for you.

I hate the increased fee for Blu Rays @ Netflix. But i enjoy the unlimited online streaming they offer. Catching up on lot of TV shows. And now that i have a new laptop with HDMI, its a quick hookup to my Panny HDTV.
I am staying with Netflix - currently on 2 at a time for $ 16.99 / mo (includes $3.00 blu ray access)
