bypass loppers are for live tree wood
They cut bushes and shrubs fine too...
what will happen if you continuously use them on dead tree wood is the blade will dull faster and/or get nicks in it.
^ perhaps but you can sharpen or replace the blade. I wouldn't reach for it first to do a tough job but if that's what I had in my hand and the branch fits, I'd still use it.

It would be better if it wasn't from 1saleaday! I had to return a DOA tablet to them a month ago. They never refunded the money until ebay forced it. It had return tracking and all.
Oh ya it was only the $60 7" Sylvania too. But of course they ignored the emails and request for refund even after it had been returned UPS confirmation 3 weeks earlier..
Number 8.... I don't think there would be much of an issue with this item arriving DOA
