Does this only record white people, or what?

One of my coworkers has one of these and the video quality is quite good.

I own the non-hd version of this camcorder so you may want to compare that to this new version after reading my comments. The picture quality is quite good although the zoom is really weak. I couldn't get close enough with the zoom to my son at his pre-school graduation from 20 feet away. If you are up close and personal or want a huge panorama view it works like a charm.

The video looks great. you plug it in from a flip out usb plug and it installs it's own software, which is good and bad, it's totally easy but it leaves a trail of running software on every computer it touches.

Other than that you need a steady hand as it picks up your 'shakes' a lot more than a big camcorder.

Handy, small, good video quality and fun.

Think I'd rather get a new digi cam with a better lens and zoom. A few now have hd video..

I think these are gimmicky, your probly better off with a cheap handheld camera, they shoot pretty good stuff these days

Great little item to keep handy for instant needs. Get the non-HD and keep it in your car for news/accident coverage. The quality is good and mailing file is a snap. The only bad part with sent files is that they can't be saved or moved to other media.
