Got one of these last time. It's bright as hell. Looking into it up close is like staring at the sun. The only negative is that it projects a spot that's shaped like the LED instead of just round. This is only on its tightest focus and is really not much of a negative. I use an LSD AA eneloop cell. I have not had a chance to test its limits yet and measure run time.
I've had the same experience as #1. Bright flashlight that's a bargain at this price.
Have this and agree. The lens is what makes in superior to the ones that are sold at CostCo which only have reflectors. These offer a MUCH more uniform light. It does get pretty warm during use.
