this is the one everyone raves about, but for a few bucks more you can get something smaller that fits in your pocket better with about same light output, though fixed focus instead of zooming.

^ Well there are dozens if not hundreds at places like DX, so here are a few, I'm linking the AA battery category since that is what the Meritline light is,

I got 2 of these in the mail. Great price for $10. However, they are not even close to 200 lumens. Placing them next to a legit Surefire 200 lumen flashlight (that cost $190) they pale in comparison. My guess is probably around 60 Lumens or something. They are, however, great $10 flashlights with a very solid feel to them. They look cool and work well.

^ true, almost none of the generic lights are accurately rated, but that's not all bad because it is expensive to make something only slightly larger than a AA battery that can handle enough drive current to reach 200 lumens out the front, and the runtime off a single AA cell wouldn't be very good either.

I'd guess a little higher though, maybe 100 lumens but with cheap aluminum lights little things can help like scrubbing off the oxidation with steel wool everywhere the body is a contact point conducting electricity.
