but the problem is everybody knows fossil makes cheap watches

Yep, Fossil watches are worth about $40 and under.

I'd say fossil's worth 40-100, but yeah movado's are usually 750-2500

Movados have never appealed to me. Yeah, no one wears watches anymore. whats the point? theres clocks on our cell phones. Anyway, people who are impressed simply by what watch they wear are people I dont want to be associated with. my mother will still love with our w/o a nice watch! ;D
