Anybody know how to tell if a MB w/onboard video can output through it and an add'l vid card simultaneously (for a 3 or 4 monitor set up)?

Basically pin compatible with the 690G (so manufacturers can clear out old PCB stock) and re-uses the older HD 2100 series graphics, with the updated 700 peripherals and support -- all fabbed at 55nm (so much better than anything Intel, which are 120nm, 90nm and only now coming out with 65nm chipsets).

Comparison of the IGP features of the 700 series:

If you can get the 780G for not much more in the same form-factor, go for it instead.

Yah, the 780G or 790 is the way to go for htpc or light gamer rig! I have been heavily looking at the 780g models and Foxconn makes a nice one, great reviews on it, but i am scared to get a foxconn as usually all i see are DOA or something similar occuring with them early on.
