Okay, there's this web site, right. It's google.com. You go there and type stuff in to search for other web sites. Got it? Okay, good, we're done here.

Being a Google means define your very own "don't be evil" (stealing other successful companies' ideas, such as Ebay's paypal, Apple's iPhone, Yahoo's email and search etc and enhancing it then categorizing it as "invention" is not considered evil as long as you don't define it as evil).

Being a Google also means scanning all books found in library, taking street view of your house without your permissions (and you have to submit request to have your street view removed, only after they agree so) and protecting Google's selected personal sensitive information (only the terrorists harmful to China, not to the USA).

Now, I will define my "don't be evil". Can I set up a 24x7 Spy Cam in front of Google's CEO and founders houses and they have to write to me to have this Spy Cam removed (only if I agree)?

What if Baidu had an office in USA and Baidu doesn't obey FBI's request to reveal terrorists sensitive personal info/emails etc? Remember, these terrorists are harmful to USA but NOT to China. If so, will US government put pressure on Baidu asking Baidu to obey USA's law?

Hum, are we (USA) having different standards if we were talking about our own business?

#3 says, "are we (USA) having different standards if we were talking about our own business?"

Of course! To expect otherwise is naive, to act otherwise is unwise.
