I suppose the deal is okay as long as you don't need bi-focal (add $100) or progressive (add $200), but even for single vision, you can beat their final "free" price from many other online sources. Progressives and bi-focals are cheaper almost everywhere else online. One thing that really bothers me is in order to see all their hidden charges, you have to provide an email address to get to the next stage in the order process and when you do that and don't buy, they spam you every few days trying to get you to complete your order. I clicked the "unsubscribe" link in the email, but still get the spam/reminders.
^ They come with a pretty decent case though and a small repair kit. I'm satisfied with mine, they had some frames I liked while I just felt "meh" about the frame selection at other lowest cost merchants. That has to be worth a few bucks.
They will keep emailing/spamming you till you unsubscribe. I used to get one email every few days to a week, IIRC but the few seconds to unsubscribe isn't a big deal.
