Coastal.com (aka Coastal Contacts) is offering a free pair of glasses with coupon code FIRSTPAIRFREE (new customers only). Excludes some frames; shipping and handling is around $5 to $16. Includes the frame and standard 1.5 index lenses.
I ordered a pair from Zenni yesterday, liked their website much better than Coastal.
- Had a small, med, large field to presort the frames. Aggravating to select a frame only to find it's the wrong size
- Had a generic male face to "try on" the frame without going to a new page
- +$17 for bifocals, my understanding Coastal charges +$100, didn't have the patience to go that far.
- Coastal, didn't have the cylinder range for my astigmatism, only +/- 3.75, I needed 4.25 & 5.50.
My total for frames, bifocals and S&H was $40, my first online glasses order, fingers crossed.
