The last frickin' day! TaxAct is once again offering their free online tax preparation service. You can prepare and print your tax forms free, or E-file for free as well. They are a government authorized e-file provider. For a more mainstream program, TurboTax is available for online filing.

If you haven't filed yet, today is the last day to do so without an extension.

You think that's what Ben meant by "The last frickin' day!"?

TaxAct is very good if you want to cheat on your taxes. I just got my "Federal Return accepted" e-mail... now what to do with my $15K refund! *smirk*

I've been using TaxAct for at least the last 3 years now. Other than the periodic "Upgrade Now!" notice, I like it: the Q&A is easy to follow, you can follow along on the paper form view, and you can go back and correct mistakes easily if necessary.

#8, I used turbo tax for a few years and then switched to taxAct and I am happy I did, I find tax act to be easier to use and easier to find what you are looking for if you are going back to make changes to your return. I thought turbo tax was ok until I realized that I like tax acts interface better.
