Fuji S6000 is probably a better camera even though it doesn't have ccd stabilization. As 6MP, its picture is much sharper than S8000, and top of its class.

I'm kind of hoping that Fuji lowering their price on this one will cause Panasonic to lower the price on the Lumix FZ18, which is really the better of the two cameras. This one's nice, but it has a fringing issue at max zoom and doesn't support RAW format.
