This is the improved version of the highly acclaimed F50fd. It's a great deal at $200.
Fujifilm announced last month that next year they are going to release a camera that is better than the F31fd (see the link below). Hmmm, are they saying that this camera is inferior to the F31fd?

F31fd sets the benchmark for high iso quality, but it using a 6MP sensor. There is a limit on noise level when you try to pack twice amount of pixels in a tiny sensor used in the 12MP F50fd. F50fd is still ahead of the competition, but when compared with the high iso pictures produced by F31fd, images from F50fd at high iso is noisier.
I have both F31fd and F50fd. I carry F50fd most of the time because of image stabilization.
BTW, whatever happened to the F100FD? Is this one step below the F100FD in terms of PQ and features?
F100fd is F50fd with 5X optical zoom. F60fd is F50fd with a 3" LCD.
I was going to get F100fd and sell my F50fd on eBay, butthen I hear about the next generation Fuji with new Superccd, so I'm going to wait.
