IX500 which is newer model compare to S1500
Break Roller - low paper jam rate
High contrast improved scan result (S1500 has somewhat grayish scan result)
USB3.0 - ofcourse high speed
Wifi - 802.11n!
Acrobat X (S1500 on PCRush does not includes Acrobat)
Do you think $100+ price difference worth it?
If you have compared the two then why isn't the answer obvious to you in terms of your needs? Maybe the S1300i would work for you. On Am azon the new IX is $20 less than the S1500.
