NewEgg.com has the G.SKILL 4GB PC2-6400 DDR2 Dual Channel Memory Kit (Notebook SODIMM) for $40 - $5 code MEM12155 [Exp 12/23] + $0 shipping = $35 shipped. It runs at a CAS latency of 5 and a voltage of 1.8V.

And I think the PC2-5300 can take this memory also. $35 is a little high.

    $35 is definitely not high for no rebate/shipping, especially since it's PC2-6400 (DDR2 800).

Any machine that takes PC2-5400 or PC2-5300 (they're both just DDR2 667)should be able to use this just fine as well, but it will only be able to run at 667Mhz if the machine does not support DDR2 800. It's still just as effective as buying 667 RAM though.

I agree with #2, you don't see this price for DDR2-800 very often. A few months ago, a 2GB stick cost me $40 and it was the cheapest I could find. I just ordered this RAM with the code above. Thanks Ben!

#2, the timings might be better at DDR2-667/PC2-5300 than typical though. Timings are more important than synchronous clock rate.
