This is not the Legend Cx. The Cx has a color screen.

Will this log coordinates/timestamps so you can plot your trip later when you get back? I've been looking for something that'll do that for recording trips.

#3 I'm pretty sure every GPS ever made will do that.

Ben, get a grip! This is not the Cx, it's the monochrome version. Also, its memory (non-expandable) is only 8MB, not GB. People should know that grayscale maps are a LOT harder to read than the color, and if you want to load any significant area of more detailed maps (the basemap is only major roads), you will need much more memory than is available. In short, the mapping functions are not much use in this unit. BTW, I have had both this one and the Cx, YMMV of course.

That should be 8MB not 8GB for map storage. It's annoying to have to put new maps on there with the memory so small (if you travel a lot, you'll constantly be reloading maps, especially Topographical ones).

You'd be much better off with the eTrex Vista HCx which has a microSD card. You'll pay almost 2x as much though.
