this isn't the cx model.
I have one, it's an ok cheap entry model for messing around and geocaching, but I upgraded cause it's not very accurate, and I wanted a color screen.
I'd say get it if you just want one to play with, but spend a bit more to get a better one if you think you may actually use it, you'll be upgrading anyway, why not save some money and go rght for a better model.
Picked up a Etrex Venture HC not long ago for near this price. Refurb from Garmin.
Color and high sensitivity.
I still find my sportrak color is more accurate however.
My daughter has this one. Recently found out that when transferring saved tracks to a desktop computer from it, the points don't contain timestamps, so it's impossible to recap a track's speed or time of day. Only the one unsaved track contains timestamps.
