I have an older version of this. It's pretty useful as a digital compass and for backpacking and whatnot. The small screen makes it not very suited for use in the car but that's not really what it was designed for.

I already have the etrex legend, but this one has a color screen, and I'm hoping better satellite reception.

I hate when I get to a geocache and it can't find any satellites from under the trees.

Hopefully the high sensitivity models are better then the Legend and Venture models. I have a Sportrak color which gets way better reception.

I still use both but think i might try this one.

    screw it:
    - no compass
    - no altimeter
    - NO microsd card support.

so u are stuck with 24mb of memory...

kinda useless to me. [ hugs my 3 year old etrex vista cx ]

Condition was excellent and included all the stuff a new one would. Enough memory to put most of my state in and easily changed if needed. I dont see the use of having the entire US maps in a handheld.

    Good deal.

I'm loving mine as well. Great reception, got 15 foot accuracy geocaching in an area my etrex legend wouldn't even get a signal.

Good deal, if this comes up again, grab it, I'm very happy with my purchase so far.

Refurb was good, everything looks brand new and it comes with new everything except batteries.

And I was able to load the mapsource map from my state in there fine using map loader. SD support would be nice, but you just let me know when you find a GPS with sd card support for 69 bucks.
