I've got this thing and it really helps for training. For me pacing was key and this helped me remain almost dead on. Plus it's great to go back and see where you went.
I was looking at one of these (last night, in fact) and the 10 hour battery life turned me off of it. Not that I run for 10 hours straight, but it'd be nice to not have to put this thing on the charger every night, or to wear it as a normal watch.
Oh, and it's $148 from Amazon. I don't know what their shipping is, since I have Prime. Overnight for $4 I guess.
This thing is too big to be worn as a daily watch...
far more accurate than the nike pod. Could be a little more waterproof. The 405 requires an additional arm band for gps functionality which means though it functions as a daily use watch you really have to "suit up" to go out running.
I don't see any usefulness of this kind of watches.
