I have the original version. The GPS only works well if you're in open field with no tall buildings, and it was very bulky. This 3rd generation Forerunner looks much more like a normal watch. I hope the GPS reception has improved significantly.
I've heard good things about this from a guy who makes software to track the number of runs you take during a day of skiing/boarding. Sounds like a good combo.
I want one of these but can't convince myself to get one. Need to hear about them.
