I bought this from Walmart.com for $80 a few weeks ago. Ben seems to be going backwards...

Do you also have lifetime maps and traffic?

I find that hard to believe for $80.

BerthaJean probably bought the same 1390LMT I bought a couple of weeks back for $80... These are a great deal - effectively brand new w/o a mark and the LMT seals the deal. Recommended!

#1 is mistaken, this was never sold for $80. 1390LMT is sold for 79.98+ taxes at Walmnart. I bought (2 weeks ago) and returned that to Walmart (yesterday). It was better than TT1 in POI database (I have) but its recalculations suck. I used Garmin 10 years ago when I borrowed it form a friend and at that time it used to take forever to recalculate, so I thought I will never buy Garmin. Bought TT1 and it was super fast recalculation, wont miss a turn. But then this deal came through and I thought let me give another shot to Garmin, maybe in 10 years they might have improved it processor which is used in recalculation, nothing doing its still same. Excellent software but bad / slow hardware.

mogambo1, how long is "forever to calculate" ? I have 7 garmins, including this one, and they never take more than 10 seconds to recalculate and usually less than 5. I mostly get tired of hearing "recalculating" so much, because I frequently take detours.

I bought the refurb 3490 model for $150 from Walmart. Works well, but it does get very warm, hot even. Anybody else have that issue or should I just return mine?

ButtBeef is right, I got the 1390LMT. My mistake. However, it does indeed have lifetime maps and traffic for $80. I'm very happy with it.
