baconnaise folks - just spend $2 and get a paper map. It'll get you there if you're not an thumbplum and if you are an thumbplum, the only place you should be going is the Hot Place.

That's right - pit 5, go burn for eternity.

      sincerely,
      toddsucks

dr_todd, if you spend $2 per map per state, that's $100 on maps's alone.. have you ever tried to drive with a giant paper map in your lap. what happens when new roads come along.. will your paper map update itself. maybe you will use scissors or white out for the updates.

today, a gps in a car is not a luxury, if you drive a lot, a good gps will save gas, time, and aggravation. 20 years ago only the rich had a cell phone and guess what, everyone has one today.

paper maps were good 5 years ago when gps's cost $1000's..today they only waste trees.

#4: There are lots of states I would not be caught dead in; anything in the south for example. Also, do you know what an atlas is?

I'm going to skull burp you. Lube your eyeballs up.

      sincerely,
      toddsucks

Map is good for plan B. GPS is plan A all the way. Don't know about other GPS but Garmin is almost like your yellow page on the road and that's a plus. I travel for my line of work and GPS is a great reference tool to have, especially when I miss an exit or there's a detour.

It's obvious for those whoever's rented, borrowed, or bought a GSP unit knows that GSP is more convenient for many reasons, but don't spend $100 on a refurbished nuvi 200!
