Garmin is way over priced. With the same price U can get many more features with Tomtom.
I would tend to agree, but after using tom and magellan, I have a feeling you get what you pay for.
I think there is tax for this in most states as well, and there may be a better deal for this somewhere else.
Garmin is consistently rated higher than TomTom. From what I hear, the only reason to get a TomTom is if you live in Europe.
Wife has the Nuvi 255W and we love it. Bought a TomTom 720 yesterday for myself and I am returning it. You do get what you pay for.
Gave a 255 to my gf she uses it to fly planes.
