Garmin GPS is good. It tells you if your destination is on the left or right side of the street.
Is the traffic updates sponsored by ads popping up on the screen?

^I believe they are on all brands. That is the catch with having a "free" service. I guess if you like taking way out of the way routes it's worth a gamble, but often it is about the same if you wait it out.
