Walmart has the Garmin Nuvi 2460LMT 5" GPS Bluetooth Navigator for $278 with free in-store pickup. Shipping option is $4. Features TFT 5" touchscreen, lifetime maps for US, Canada, and Mexico, traffic updates, fuel-saving ecoRoute navigation, Bluetooth compatibility and myTrends.
I have both the Droid and Droidx, but still prefer the stand alone GPS. Much easier to read the screen. Text and maps are too small on the droids (they are great for displaying pictures and internet up close, but not maps and traffic when they are 15" away on the dash. Yes, I know the droids will speak the turns and can be voice programmed (after a few button pushes), just like the garmin, but I still find myself preferring to use the garmin.
That said, the garmin's with the ability to voice program your destination, are the best handsfree solution. Too bad this one is missing that function.
I do like google maps traffic overlay on the droids, but it is best used by a co-pilot, so the driver can watch the road.
If you get an android phone, you shouldn't have to mess with standalone gps unit again in your life.
