    This is the 255 not 255W (widescreen) as listed, 255W is $189.99 from Dell

    This should be corrected. It links to the Garmin 255, not the 255W. Same device with a smaller screen, 3.5" as opposed to 4.3"

    I have not tried this, but garmin is saying that you can update within 60 days from unit first acquiring satellites for free:
