It does not make sense to buy Garmin refurbished because new one is cheap and you get 1 year warranty and free map update...
4.3 version of this is $105 for brand new. Of course, 205 is old model but model over 1000 will cost at least $150.
#1, you obviously have too much time on your hands!!!
Yes, I do. Retired.
you need a computer that tells you where to go. how lame is that.
So buy one from ebay for really cheap. It either works or it doesnt, a one year warranty is really not worth the trouble.
bought a couple of nuvi 200s cheap, updated the maps and it does what a gps should.
BTW,. this one has a 1 year warranty if you need it.
I have a 255wt
(wide and traffic)
the maps in oregon were dissapointing
It did not have most of the roads in ashland, even ones that had been there since 25 years at least (actually much older)
when I was driving on the I-5, it thought I was going 60+ through the fields, just off the freeway!
It kept telling me what streets to take to get back on.
