Tiger Direct has the refurbished Garmin Nuvi 2555LMT 5" GPS Navigator for $120 - $40 rebate [Exp 12/15] + $0 shipping = $80 shipped. Features lane assist with photoReal junction views, over 8 million points of interest, spoken street names, and includes lifetime map and traffic updates.
I tried getting in Garmin's camp thrice by purchasing 3 of its units, once in 2002 and then 2007 and then in 2012 and all 3 times I was disappointed by its SLOW route recalculations after missing a turn, while even thought TOMTOM is not so great in its POI it is super fast in this aspect which is most important when you miss a turn, that you don't want to see RECALCULATING on the screen forever after driving 3 blocks. I hate Garmin more than TT for this reason. I want quick route recalculation of TT and best POIs of Garmin. Seems TT CPU and memory are fast but poor recalculation algorithm but Garmin has best route calculation algorithm but bad recalculation time, so sticking with my TT after returning 3 Gramin's. Can't say I did not give Garmin 3 tries before deciding to stick to my TT.Even in 2012 Garmin has same slow route re-calculation issues that it has in 2002 and for which I had to return it,for same reason I returned it even in 2012.
Rebate kills the deal. Tiger Direct rebate overkills the deal.
Would have been in for one but they are $139.99 now..
minus $40 rebate = $100
Ditto CR125Honda.

Don't know whats worse. Dealing with the rebate or the refurb. I don't want to buy somebody else's mistake.
