I love how Garmin will sell whole devices for less than they sell their software for GPS enabled Windows Mobile phones. You'd think they would be all over not having to provide the hardware.
you wouldn't even believe what the price is for navigation updates for my car's built in system.
can't wait until google maps becomes standard on these systems
Why #2? So you an get lost? Google maps has the street by my house misspelled. Not a simple misspelling, its a completely different street name. The funny thing is, google is the only one with the wrong name. All of the other only map providers, and GPS units have the street spelled correctly.
mhicks,
I will not be coming to your house, so never fear.

I have the 360 (this one with bluetooth - which in my opinion you don't really need) and it works great! Maps are available online if you're willing to do the work. It's only ever frozen up on me once, which from what I hear with other GPS units is really good.
For this price, buy it.
This is a great price for a very accurate, reliable, and easy-to-use unit. I bought one last father's day for my dad for $350, which had been the price for almost a year prior to that. $110 is a steal, even for a refurb. And Garmin has superb customer support in the event there are any issues at all. (I have a 680 and have had a couple of issues with the FM traffic receiver, and they've sent me new ones without any issues. FYI they constantly improve their products - the issues I had were with the communication wire that got brittle in New England cold weather -- the latest one they sent me has a much thicker and reinforced cable to address exactly that problem. Someone over there is doing their job!)
Actually, it's THIS one that doesn't have the bluetooth.
The 360 is available for around the same price, and has a nicer screen and bluetooth, so look for that one instead.
I have this model, and it has never steered me wrong.
#3, the new Garmin maps aren't any better. I had the Nuvi 750 for a few weeks and found that a major street in my city was missing. Funny thing is the street was in the map that came with the Nuvi 360 but not in the Nuvi 750 map.
so #9 are you telling me to save my money and not buy the new maps ?
