Great price on a decent GPS! I bought the 360 but would buy this if I had it to do over again.

I had used this one for a couple of months. Good one, not excellent. Real traffic info for addtional subscription after 6 months, slow sometimes. I do not like I have to set GPS sensor up and fold it every time when you use it for navigation.

Takes a while to 'find' the satellites, but the maps are great. The flip up antenna does get in the way a bit if you are walking around with it, but on the mount in the car it's no biggie. Text-to-speech is nice...all around a very good GPS. No experience with Circuit City refurbs, though...

I also have this navigation. I think it is a great nav for the money. Only downside I have noticed is that it takes a long time to acquire a satellite, but that wouldn't stop me from purchasing it if I had to.

if you let it lock onto the satellite before you start driving it is much quicker then letting it lock on while you are moving.

My experience is exactly the opposite vyper0 -- mine locks on much faster if I'm moving.

Garmin Nuvi 350 is probably the best overall GPS you can buy. We have used ours for 2 years and it has performed flawlessly. Acquiring satellites doesn't take as long as the other reviews imply and have never had a problem loosing the signal once it has acquired the satellites. The point of interest library (hotel, gas, hospitals, shopping food…..) also works great and it provides the business's phone number as well as the address (handy for calling to get hotel reservations). I highly recommend this GPS.

The 350 is a good solid device. My device acquiring time is short when nothing blocks reception.
The only problem with the SW is that you can't exclude parts of the way and make it recalculate a new path dropping the section you wanted.
