This is one of the best navigation system, but prefer the 360, since it has the bluetooth function. Still waiting for the price to drop some more before purchasing.

$500 with free shipping is a great price, the bluetooth option is nice, but not worth it to everyone, Garmin is the best right now,

Be careful if you choose to buy one of these. Once you get used to using it, you won't know how to drive without it!

I'd spend the extra $70 on a 360 (and I did). You'll want the City Navigator v8 maps -- check and make sure you can get the free upgrade (should be able to without a problem). Also make sure this is one of the newer screens. The older 350's had screens that were pretty hard to see, but they updated them.

I absolutely LOVE my 360, but if you don't need the bluetooth, the 350's got all the same stuff (same processor, memory, screen size, etc).

I just wish Garmin put the SIRF chip in the C340... C340 is a nice unit, nice and simple. No fancy features like bluetooth, MP3, world clock and translator which I think these features are totally useless on a GPS.
I know they have the C520 530... but all of them don't have the text to speech...

If you can wait a few days... BB is selling on BF for $499.99 that way it will be easier to return if you don't like it. But really it's a great unit. I've got the 360. Like the earlier post mentioned check the box and see it has the "v.8" on the upc label. If it does then it will have the non-glare screen for sure.

Highly rated by cnet.com. I am waiting for Black Friday to pick one up cheaper. Costco has a $150 off around Thanksgiving time.

watch out for the windshield mount. It's the only thing I would change with this unit. The suction cup literally bonds with the glass. I had to cut mine off with a razor blade. Garmin is well aware of the problem. I'm not sure if they got bad material from a supplier or not but they have been replacing a lot of these. You have to send them the old one before they will send a replacement.

Wow, price is dropping quick for this thing. Probably because of the nuvi 660. 3.5" for the screen isn't bad at all though.
The picture viewer is very, very slow even with a high speed SD card. It takes up to 25 seconds for 9 thumbnails to show up. But... this thing's a GPS anyway.

On that note, my only complaint is that when multiple destinations are chosen, there's no way to view/edit the order of the route. That would be a very nice feature when planning a multi-stop trip.

Other than that, it tends to pronounce "Dr" as "Doctor" intead of "Drive" when present in a street name.

You suck, with attitude like that, you won't know when a great deal hits you smack in the head! Too bad, cause that's what will happen. You need to move on cause when you keep following his lead, you're going no where, in fact you won't even be getting a deal. Glad you feel that way cause you'll be lining his pockets and he's smiling, laughing at you all the way to his bank.
