Isn't this a really good deal? I'm thinking about jumping on this.
Yes. That's a really good deal. The 650 is to the 660 what the 350 is to the 360. Same in all respects with a few things missing (in this case, the FM Transmitter, Traffic stuff, and Bluetooth capability are missing).
You still get the same maps, same form factor, same GPS hardware, etc. Good deal.
But if you really want the traffic receiver, you can buy it later for around 200 bucks. The traffic receiver is built into the car charger, it doesn't have anything to do with the device. Consider the 650 "Traffic Ready".
I would go with 350 for a $100 less. Or 360 with bluetooth and save $50. 350/360 is more portable (or someone says smaller...)
garmins are terribly overpriced....
I could care less about all the gadgets that are built into these navigation units...they are for navigating right?
Actually, garmin cost more for a reason... the nuvi series prenounces street names and they have one of the fastest seek times. I had the 350, the route it would give me from home to work was not the fastest time, because there is a road parallel to the given route without stop signs... after a week or two of going my own route to work, the garmin started to learn that the preset route was not the fastest and changed it to my route... from then the garmin told me to go the route i've always been going... now find another brand that has a learning route algoriythm
i'm thinking about jumping on this, but i recently have no need for it... and i should just stick with the cheaper 350 model. Once the nuvi 350 drops to $250 i will pick it up, hopefull soon
Has anyone had a positive experience with the FM transmitter?
