Yugster.com has the refurbished Garmin Nuvi 750 4.3" Screen GPS with Text-to-Speech & 5+ Million POIs with NavGear Dash Mount for $143 + $7 shipping = $150 shipped. It has an FM transmitter that plays voice prompts, MP3s or audio books and does it all through your car's stereo system.

pretty decent GPS. It takes a while to locate your position when triangulating with the satellites though.

"Ability to add maps" what does this mean? Pay extra to Garmin to add map or can you edit the map that is already on there?

There is a community of folks publishing their own maps. You attach the Nuvi to your computer via USB and write the map file to the internal storage of the Nuvi.

Or, you can pay Garmin as much as $120 for a "lifetime" subscription to map updates.

Legal Disclaimer: I had a bad purchasing experience with Yugster and I won't buy from them again. This in no way should influence your decision to take advantage of this offer.

#10: you obviously need to spend MORE MONEY for this feature that you apparently HOPE to use some day.
