A good GPS coupled with a HORRIBLE touchscreen. We have the 755T (same unit minus the bluetooth) and it works great for navigating but typing on it is a major pain. The touch screen is son inaccurate that you push a button and it registers you pushing something on the other side of the screen.
Save your money and wait for the Garmin 3700s to drop in price as they have a much better input. This is also not a good price. We got our 755t new for $150 6 months ago.
Agree with #1 about the the touch screen... it's terrible. The only thing I like about this unit is the traffic update which works great in the Bay Area. It redirects me to different routes to avoid traffic... yeah, more local driving but I get there faster than sitting in traffic.
I have owned this GPS for a little more than a year. The touchscreen is trash and that isn't the only problem. It takes a long time to find satellites and is very slow calculating routes.
I don't know why anyone buys these with the known touchscreen problem. Also, refurbs are simply used units returned because something doesn't work. They are not fixed or refurb but simply sent back out. many bad reviews on Amazon for all refurb GPS units. Do yourself a favor and buy new.
Damn, i just got a refurb one of these from newegg yesterday.
I bought a refurb Garmin unit from Amazon and it has worked fine for me for the past 3 years
